Se baso en un diseño observacional, descriptivo y tranversal. La investigacion se desarrollo en  una estancia industrial  agropecuaria ubicado en el distrito de Santa Fe del Parana. , comomuestra se dividio en tres lotes de 50 animales cada uno, correspondientes a distintas etapas del desarrollo : maternidad, crecimiento y egorde o terminacion con un toral de 150 animales. La respuesta intermedia onservada en la ganancia de peso del grupo  castrado a los 60 dias podria atribuirse al desarrollo mas avanzado del sistema reproductor permitiendo asi una mejor tolerancia al estres  quirurgico. El analisis realizado demostro que la mejor etapa para realziar el procedimiento de castracion , para obtener una ganancia de peso ideal para el consumo final, teniendo en cuenta el bienestar animal es la edad temprana de 4 a 10 dias.
