Las variables evaluadas fueron el tiempo de cicatrizacion hasta el cierre completo de la herida , la calidad del tejido cicatrizado, los resultados del analisis de varian mostrando diferencias significativas entre los tratamientos, los hallazgos confirman que tanto como el petroleo y la miel aceleran la reparacion tisular y mejoran la calidad del tejido en comparacion con el tratamiento convencional. Ambos productos apicolas representan alternativas terapeuticas naturales, seguras, economicas y efectivas para el manejo postoperatorio de heridas quirurgicas en caninos.
